Yep! I am still going to post these every Sunday because gosh darn it I really do find pleasure in reviewing the happenings in the video game industry every week and talking about them. It’s fun, cathartic, and does not take up a lot of my time. As such, Rundowns will carry forth for the next… however long. Also, I completely failed to contribute to a conversation for 3.5 hours yesterday, so I’m feeling like a ripe little turd at the moment. Continue reading
After many requests from people who don’t own Playstation Vitas, and an announcement that there were no plans to port the Danganronpa series to a new platform, Spike Chunsoft decided to bring this beloved little visual novel franchise to the PC market. I originally reviewed the Vita version in 2014, but I like to think that I’ve grown substantially as a writer since then, and I am always willing to support companies, especially Japanese companies, when they support the PC marketplace with niche titles. So on with the review!
Okay, The Malice of Abigale Quinlan has been released, and now I’m pretty lost as to what I should do. I’ve been pretty depressed as of late, with school starting up, my job being incredibly stagnant, and my inability to come out as transgender to my parents is really getting to me. I have insecurities and anxieties, which are two common things that I should learn to live with because they are never going away no matter what I do. Oh, and constantly feeling like a failure when it comes to literally everything I do certainly doesn’t help. Continue reading
Another week, another Rundown, another five things I have to talk about because not much has happened. Lovely. What should I talk about here? Well, I’m nearly done editing The Malice of Abigale Quinlan, and it will be released sometime during this week. Probably Saturday to be honest, as school is starting up this week and the State, who funds my education because I’m autistic, screwed up and did not send a voucher for my books. So, yeah, that will be a lot of fun. Continue reading
So, my plans for building my new PC have fallen through yet again, and my confidence is somewhere down in a toilet, being eaten by rats, as opposed to living on the streets where kids throw rocks at it and call it gay. Anyways, here’s a recap of happenings in the video game industry over the past week. Continue reading
I was going to make a post on NeoGaf about how I spent about 1.5k on games over the past two years, but ended up getting nearly 300 games in the end. However, I chickened out and could not bare to put my thoughts on a message board, because that is a great way to get murdered. I also bought a Chromebook so I could type things instead of sleeping while on the train, and am looking into buying some hormones because I should start HRT sooner than later. It won’t be a full gender transition or anything like that, as I think I’d be the most comfortable being Genderqueer. Continue reading
Well, 2015 is now upon us. It is a nice number, multiple of five, and has a nice calendar. It also happens to be the year where I will set a few of my upcoming novellas during, as I am the sort of guy who needs to tell the reader the date when writing a story. It is a dumb obsessive trait that I will probably never work out of, mostly due to how I doubt anybody will ever talk to me about my stories. Hell, they are a secret to everybody I know off of the interwebs, partially due to how I lack any friends… Continue reading
