Rundown (8/18-8/24) Dude Whatever It’s Summer

The mixtapes, remixes, and mashups created by Team Teamwork, also known as Timothy Jacques, are a regular part of my musical rotation, and have been very influential on my personal tastes in music, introducing me to a number of genres and artists I otherwise wouldn’t have given the time of day.  Whether they take the form of endearing tracks to jam out to while doing more mundane daily activities, or, as is the case with this more recent work, surreal auditory odyssey that blend genres, tones, and concepts, resulting in something bizarrely claiming, yet also eerie and abrasive.  I bring this up because Team Teamwork recently released their latest entry in the Dude Whatever It’s Summer series, which is what I imagine nearly overdosing on one’s recreational drug of choice is like, but in the form of a 64 minute long diverse continuous medley.  So, yeah, if that truncated and clunky description sounds appealing to you, maybe give Dude Whatever It’s Summer 2019 a listen.

Rundown (5/26-6/01) Everything is Dirty!

I personally am not a germaphobe or neat freak by any means, but there are two things that generally speaking freak me out whenever I see, and I see them frequently.  People eating food with unwashed hands and people lounging around in their home in “outside clothes”. My reasoning for this stems from the fact that the outside world is filthy, everything is dirty, and while people lack the ability to fully control the unclean, they should take care to not ingest vile germs or bring them into their home.  I have not gotten sick in a decade and want to continue that streak, and the idea of bringing germs into the home makes me want to immediately jump into the shower when I get home after work. Sure, I change my clothes and wash my hands, but my hair may as well have been dumped into a garbage bin.

Rundown (6/11) E3 2018: The Busy Day

By the time I have published this post, I have dragged myself through a 13 hour day of work and school, wherein my free time was spent feverishly catching up on the press events in a vain attempt to remain current with the news, before going to bed and spending the preceding morning catching up on everything before the next day of news picks up.  It was a rush to get this post out, but as is always the case with E3, I would not have it any other way.

Rundown (12/03-12/09) Rest Before the Final Battle!

Next week is going to be a hectic one for me.  I have finals, work, and, of course, surgery all scheduled, and am scattering to get everything done in time.  And seeing as how the The Game Awards were held this past week, I’ve got a lot of news to get through.

Rundown (11/27-12/03) I Caught ‘Em All!

vlcsnap-2016-11-10-00h37m54s727Over the past week, I was able to finally do something that was approximately 18 years in the making.  I was able to catch each and every officially released Pokemon.  With 721 unique monsters in my Pokemon Bank, and the newly introduced 79 all organized neatly in my copy of Pokemon Moon, I now have access to all 800 Pokemon, and feel immensely satisfied by that fact.  I may not be the very best, like no one ever was, but I’ve completed my real test to catch them all and I’ve followed my case to train them.  I travelled across the lands, searching far and wide.  I now understand each Pokemon and the power that’s inside. Rundown (6/13) E3 2016: Your Ambition Is Irrelevant

Overstimulated

There is a lot of content to cover, so let’s jump right into it.  A rundown detailing the E3 2016 presentations of Microsoft, PC Gamer and AMD, Ubisoft, and Sony.  There’s a stupid amount of content to cover, and simply getting all of this done in one day has proved to be quite the challenge.  So let’s go!
