Some people are excited about Fallout 4 coming out in a manner of days, but I am waiting until 2017 or so to play it, as I would rather enjoy a complete game with mods applied rather than a buggy game at launch. At the moment, one of my most anticipated game was just released this morning, Student Transfer. Student Transfer is a body swapping and transformation focused game that is made by the fans of Press-Switch, an unfinished title I praised in the past for being something of a dream game of mine, and I plan on reviewing come the next release. I would have already started playing it, but there are a few bugs that are being worked out at the moment, and I am only at chapter 6 in Neptunia Re;Birth3. Regardless, expect a post about Student Transfer, a game I could help create if I so wish to, but I don’t do well with group projects for the most part, and I want full ownership of everything I do. When it comes to writing, for whatever reason my brain feels like an old piece of toast on this faithful day, and I never prepare an introductory bit for Nigmabox Rundowns… So I’ll just get on with it and post the page and a half I’ve been gradually building over the course of the past week. Yes, my Punch Line review is still not done, I got frustrated with writing it and recently just finished the initial draft of my novel, Verde’s Doohickey, so I decided to put it off. Verde’s Doohickey is a story I am aiming to release on August 31st, probably sooner, but I still need to edit those 50,000 words. I’ll also get a game review out next week, and have been starting therapy. What have you been doing at the weekend? I’ve been organizing my stupidly constructed music library I barely touch. *Dies in a fire* Continue reading
It is rather pointless for a little slice of nowhere blog with only a small number of views to do a summarization of the E3 press events, especially when they were not watching them live due to real life events, such as work. But I got home to catch the latter two, and catch up with the former before Nintendo did their event and managed to get everything done before Tuesday’s end… well after everybody and their brother did their own version of this, and often far better than my assorted ramblings that are made all the dumber by the insertion of anime screencaps. It’s Nigmabox’s third annual Super E3 Rundown!
“What do you want to see from games in 2014?” is a question that I raise an eyebrow towards, as I view it as a very simple one to answer. Less hissy fits about minor details, stay positive and hope companies don’t do dirty actions, and keep on putting out great games. Bam! I think the question is more focused towards what people really want out of Gen8, but then I can’t answer the question properly, as I made myself a PC that I named after this here blog I made about a year beforehand. I got more games than I got over the past three years in the past seven months so jack could happen this year and I’d say it was still pretty good. So here’s a bunch of old C Grade news.
