Wherein I discuss the return of a supposed classic, the return of Nina Struthers and friends, a curious international business investment, and a golden game bringing in golden results.Continue reading
I am very well aware of the fact that it is beyond pointless for me to try and cover an event like E3 or offer my hot takes on any given press conference due to the simple fact that everybody and their baby cousin is doing the same darn thing, and that my posts do not technically go up until hours later, where they offer a text-based summary of a video broadcast. It is all kind of pointless in a sense, but I have fun making this elongated opinionated summaries, and that’s the important part. …I think.
I regularly wonder if my thoughts on a game are too shallow or surface level, that I don’t really dig into the greater and subtler meanings of a game, and instead choose to jump from one game to another about once a week. I don’t think that’s a bad thing, but it gets to me when I play a game and feel like I’m just reciting what snippets I heard of it before, as I generally agree with the common conception about it. Anyhow, I played Dropsy, wrote a review of it, and am putting it up during the week of E3 because scheduling demands it. Continue reading
Okay, so, I am working full time this summer, for those who do not know, or just stumbled onto this post, and that means I cannot spend all day in E3 mode. It makes my nights very hectic, as I try to pick up the piece right after getting home, but I went through Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, and Sony’s press conferences, amounting to over five hours of footage, while writing up some quick thoughts on the opinions on the video games, as I have been doing since 2012. Without further ado, I’ll just get right to it. Continue reading
It is rather pointless for a little slice of nowhere blog with only a small number of views to do a summarization of the E3 press events, especially when they were not watching them live due to real life events, such as work. But I got home to catch the latter two, and catch up with the former before Nintendo did their event and managed to get everything done before Tuesday’s end… well after everybody and their brother did their own version of this, and often far better than my assorted ramblings that are made all the dumber by the insertion of anime screencaps. It’s Nigmabox’s third annual Super E3 Rundown!
Over the past year, or I guess 11 months is more accurate, I have been working on a novel that I originally was posting here. I deleted those posts, edited them, and added about 130 more pages, amounting to 150-ish that I want to put on the Amazon Kindle Market. Problem is that I do not know my tax information so it may indeed be a while until I properly post it for the dollar I need to charge for it. I mean, it would be $0.37 if I had my way, but no… Also, I don’t have any tax forms so expect it to take a while as I figure this shit out. Continue reading
