Rundown (11/11-11/17) Welcome Impromptu Hiatus!

So, remember how a few weeks ago I talked about how my schedule was going to get out of wack in the future?  Well, it will get out of wack for a while, but not for the reasons I mentioned. Quite simply, my mother fell and damaged her arm, so I need to help out around the house a lot more while she heals, limiting my free time after work or school, and especially on weekends, when I need to help with the shopping, cooking, and cleaning.  That not being enough, I am getting absolutely wrecked by projects at school, where I am getting incredibly anxious about the lot of them. I hope to have things in a more stable condition by December, but until then, reviews are on hiatus, as I simply cannot comfortably play games while trying to juggle all of this rubbish.  Also, today is my 24th birthday, and I am celebrating it by making food and doing accounting homework instead of relaxing and playing Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee like I originally plannedHell, I doubt I’ll even touch the game, or any game for that matter, until after American Thanksgiving.

Rundown (6/11) E3 2017: Return of the Busiest Time in My Life

E3 has begun, and thankfully the duties have been spread apart this year, with the previously mostly vacant Sundays are now being used by two major press conferences.  Meaning that I only have three more to go after pushing out this post right at the cusp of midnight because Bethesda thinks it is good to have a press conference at 9 PM PST.  Also, the title of this post is not a lie.  I do more work per day during the Monday and Tuesday of E3 than I do during any other time during the year.  Especially this year, as I have to work and attend class while E3 is going on.  Anyways, on with the rundown. Rundown (6/04-6/10) PRE3 2017: Lower Your Expectations for Maximum Happiness!

Well, it’s the middle of June, and you know what that means.  It’s time for the Electronic Entertainment Expo.  Yes, an event full of announcements, dubious trailers, and manufactured hype.  I could be cynical about the whole thing, as it is ultimately one big commercial, but I always have a good time zealously devoting my attention to the event and working hours on end to provide write-ups on just about everything announced, while giving my own opinion on them and each conference.  Yet as is always the case, pre-E3, or PRE3 as I like to call it, is in full effect, so let’s just go for it! Rundown (2/05-2/11) Time Travel Is Always a Mistake

tired-link-by-brellom…The Hero is Defeated timeline in the Legend of Zelda annoys me.  I understand the need for a timeline where Ganondorf ran free only to eventually be sealed by the seven sages without the help of Link, but there is an easier way to reach that conclusion.  They could follow the rule of time travel that, whenever something foreign enters a new timeline, it causes that timeline to split off and allows for a new timeline to be created.  So when Link travels to the future, he could end up splitting the timeline just by arriving there.  So in A Link to the Past, the hero could have just never arrived.
