Wherein I discuss one of my favorite settings, China’s government being a wet fart, my childhood friend’s favorite series heading to uncharted territory, and subpar emulation for 20-30 year old games.Continue reading

In my quest to explore, experience, and analyze the Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy, as seen in my reviews for XIII and XIII-2, I was dreading this installment. Not due to any quality concerns, but due to the time limit. I was horrified by the idea of being unable to do everything I can in a given amount of time. It was enough for me to go through this game with a guide to assist me, and I played the game on easy mode as well, because Square Enix actually recommended doing so. Continue reading
Another week, another Rundown, another five things I have to talk about because not much has happened. Lovely. What should I talk about here? Well, I’m nearly done editing The Malice of Abigale Quinlan, and it will be released sometime during this week. Probably Saturday to be honest, as school is starting up this week and the State, who funds my education because I’m autistic, screwed up and did not send a voucher for my books. Heck, the fact it was a multiplatform title was what sold me on the console I primarily used for the next five years. As such, I felt I have some unfinished business to attend to with this title, and going back to it after all this time was at least a little disheartening. Continue reading
For some reason I thought the Sony pre-TGS stream was TGS itself, but I was wrong. As my apology, I will provide a depressing fact about myself. There is no area in my life where I feel I can be myself beyond this blog… yeah. I am often wracked with insecurities I shove away and ignore, but regularly uncover them and grow incredibly depressed. Ah well, fuck it, time for video game funtimes! Also, here’s a picture of SWERY looking silly. Continue reading
