Rundown (6/07-6/13) PRE3 2015: A Leaky Prelude to Devastation

0 E3 2015Steam Summer Sales started serenely and sadly my selection of specific software ‘s selling-price stayed- screw this shaz.  I keep a list of reservation prices I keep for certain games, which I adhere to well, and there were not a ton of games whose selling price dropped beneath the reservation price.  So far I got Metro Redux and Epic Fantasy Battle 4 because I have some nostalgia for mid-ots Newgrounds.  I will get Momodora III, Dysfunctional Systems: Learning to Manage Chaos, and DreadOut as the sale ends, but will wait to see if there are any dailies.  I set myself a limit of $100 to spend, which is harder because I need to now pay taxes on Steam purchases… Continue reading

Rundown (10/26-11/01) Either Be Productive or Be a Corpse

XCA Gut PunchI’m really not sure what to say here.  I guess I should say that there will be a review of X-Change Alternative this week, a title I purchased to feed a curiosity of mine that was not very satisfied.  I did get limited edition Steins;Gate masturbation tissues though, which made the purchase of what will probably be my only physical PC game a bit worth it.  For whatever reason I also bought X-Change 3, which is far less of a porn game then I would claim Alternative is.  So I’m picking away at it and Sonic Adventure DX… What the hell do you mean by “relevant” games? Rundown (8/17-8/23) Game Journalism’s Rules of Nature

1 Haganai Oh Fuck Yeah!Okay, so a lot of… stuff has been going on with game press, indie game creators, Zoe Quinn having sexual relationships with several men in the press and raping somebody, and the collective society of Angry Young Men… or at least that is what one perspective views it as, due to how there are many, many different ways to view this issue, and I am still at the starting line asking myself, “When the hell was the term ‘Games Journalism’ not something that was openly mocked?”  Well, this whole weeklong… thing has been requiring quite a bit of journalism and investigation, along with allegations of biases possessed by sites, and the repression or threatening of releasing certain information.
