Rundown (9/20-9/26) Electrolysis is Not Fun
Wherein I discuss genital electrocution, the consolidation of gamindustri, how propriety memory is always a mistake, the shift from Zero to the Future, a new challenger in this era of platform wars, and a curious compilation of classic titles.

I’m not going to disclose details on this, but after a lengthy period of loneliness, I finally made a friend with someone on the internets. All because they sent me an email asking about transwoman stuff. And my goodness does it feel wonderful to have someone I can talk to about the minute details of my life, and someone who is comfortable enough with me to do the same. (more…)
Rundown (3/15-3/21) Obey The Rules of Nature or Die!
For whatever reason I’ve been feeling very tired on weekends lately. I it probably to do with how I get about six hours of sleep three days a week, seven on the other two, so I am just sleep deprived and sit at home instead of going out to a place where I have a designated objective. NWS (2/24-3/02): Bake The World Into an Omelette and Shove it Up Your Arse
Huh, five weeks in already? Maybe I can actually keep up this charade for a year, or however long I can do it without being bored out of my skull. But how can I be when talking about them vidja garmes?

Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes Review
It is weird to own a game for four years, and not actually get around to beating it. But that is one of the unspoken goals of this blog, even if it is a series that has been talked about for the past decade and a half. And after finally sitting down and experiencing it, at least its oft dismissed remake, I can certainly see why people were so attached.
