Trying to follow E3 news while working a very busy job where the only down time I have during lunch is not very fun, and as such I have spent nearly the entirety of my evening catching up to E3 and watching what I missed. I’m just thankful that Microsoft moved their conference to Sunday, otherwise I would have been writing until I was struggling to stay awake. Well, more than I am when finally publishing this. KLK Damnit Mako, you wacky space digger for being so cute that I cannot refuse fine you are exceptedI am currently working on my final papers, one of which I recycled and one of which I vomited out because I was guaranteed an A in the class, and one of which I am halfway done with, but am really bored by. I am writing a review of Arkham Asylum and playing Castle Crashers because my Vita memory card isn’t coming until tomorrow and I want it to come before I start Golden. I am revising my plans for Terra’s Tales of Tremendous Transcendance because copyright laws are dumb and you cannot sell something that contains the word Pokemon in it. And I am also probably going to get a job either where my mother works or with an accounting firm if their intern thing goes through. That’s my story and I’m going to hide in a box now, bye! …Or stay since I have a page of game stuff to speak about. (more…)

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night Review

sotn-194Being born in late 1994 and being initially intimidated by video games for reasons that would only be plausible to the mind of a timid little boy, I found myself not too enthralled by a large quantity of older titles. But if I were to make a top ten, or possibly even a top five list of my favorite games of all time, I would certainly place Symphony of the Night up there. With that in mind, asking why I would review a title such as this is a valid question, especially since I did back when I was figuring this reviewing doohickey out. Well, because I didn’t explain why I love it so much properly, which was also the reason for my second Saints Row 2 review. So let the praise flow super duper well without being unconditional!
