Rundown (6/07-6/13) PRE3 2015: A Leaky Prelude to Devastation

0 E3 2015Steam Summer Sales started serenely and sadly my selection of specific software ‘s selling-price stayed- screw this shaz.  I keep a list of reservation prices I keep for certain games, which I adhere to well, and there were not a ton of games whose selling price dropped beneath the reservation price.  So far I got Metro Redux and Epic Fantasy Battle 4 because I have some nostalgia for mid-ots Newgrounds.  I will get Momodora III, Dysfunctional Systems: Learning to Manage Chaos, and DreadOut as the sale ends, but will wait to see if there are any dailies.  I set myself a limit of $100 to spend, which is harder because I need to now pay taxes on Steam purchases… Continue reading

Rundown (11/09-11/15) Don’t Go Outside or the War Will Get You!

1 GUP War It is Hell And No People Are AliveSo, Dragon Age Inquisition comes out on my Birthday, but a combination of the price, bugs, and how I am saving for a GTX 970 ontop of the inevitable Steam sales puts it on the back burner.  Oh, and Origin, never forget about that yucky Origin!  I really do want to dive in though, but I have visual novels and some PS+ games to keep me preoccupied.  Also out of the streets, where there is always a war on.  A nice chilly one at the moment, filled with mutants. Rundown (2/02-2/08) The Cult of (Insert Witty Term) is Here!

Cult De NigmaWow, I totally forgot I had Nigmabox Rundown’s one year anniversary last installment.  To think, I’ve been using pictures from random anime while bitching about video games for a year… well, let’s make it two, as I’ve got at least a hundred more of these in me.  Even if it does mean I will need to scrape the bottom of the barrel with things like Flappy Bird, a game that I saw people more or less code back in high school that caused a form of controversy that I quite frankly do not get, mostly due to how I believe the game is, or rather was, free.  Is it unoriginal and lazy?  Pretty much, but that doesn’t mean it deserves anybody’s attention.  Hell, I could… no, actually I couldn’t make it, as I could not program for crap four years ago and sure as sugar cannot now.
