Rundown (4/17-4/23) Leftist Center Progressiveness, Ideological Pragmatism, and Cynical Optimism

0 P4G apathy upset mad cruel king queen princessIt just occurred to me that I have no idea what a comma splice, independent clause, and dependent clause are.  The could be due to my own foolishness, but I like to think it’s because my school placed me in remedial English during my middle school years.  I’m not sure why, as I was always a B student, and my writing was actually praised by a few teachers.  This school district also sent me to play with the down syndrome and retarded children once a week in third and fourth grade.  Because Autism, I guess.  Now my autism causes the state to pay for my super level schooling and probably pays people to care for those retarded adults. Rundown (2/21-2/27) Weeaboo Levels Increasing (Something About an Enemy Stand)

0 JOJOOver the past week or so, I decided to start reading JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, even though I was pretty ambivalent to the series after watching the weirdly paced and dully colored anime series. I recall pondering that reading the colored manga would make for a far more enjoyable experience, and after a quick search to discover that Part 3 was indeed completed, I gave it a go, and  it is one of the most enjoyable and creative works I have ever read through. It’s absurd when you get down to it, overly dramatic, quite stupid, all of which is intentional, and all of which I gobbled up like a hungry little chipmunk. I would be going through Part 4, but I want some breathing room. These things take ~5 years to make after all. Oh, and I’m also graduating from community college, and have been accepted in an honor’s society because I’m apparently smart. Pfft, yeah right. Continue reading

Rundown (1/03-1/09) Ha La Mushroom Cha La

0 PGOS Irrepessable Impulse of hyperOh my great goodness to gargantuan proportions, Mark Haynes (Alvin Earthworm) is rebooting Super Mario Bros. Z!  I loved this man’s original work, it was one of my favorite things in the world when I was still toiling around newgrounds in the late ots with my friend, who I think is dead now.  Seeing this man pull himself out of the furry hole and a meaningless existence as a dishwasher is so hopeful, so joyous, and something I will undoubtedly support on Patreon.  Yes, I have a lot of nostalgia for this sprite based fighting series, but I still think it’s amazing. Rundown (12/06-12/12) A Most Leaky Upset for All the Boys and Girls

0 TWGOK ToiletSo, my plans for building my new PC have fallen through yet again, and my confidence is somewhere down in a toilet, being eaten by rats, as opposed to living on the streets where kids throw rocks at it and call it gay.  Anyways, here’s a recap of happenings in the video game industry over the past week.
