Rundown (1/15-1/21) Super Mario World Adventure DX Director’s Cut 2 Battle & Knuckles

super-mario-world-adventure-dx-2-directors-cut-battle-by-memebeanmachI did not notice this after the Nintendo Switch event last week, mostly because I try to curate my media feeds as best I can, but apparently everybody who watched the trailer for Super Mario Odyssey compared the game to Sonic The Hedgehog (2006) because it has a cartoonish character wandering around a realistic city with realistic people.  Even though the far simpler and, well, better comparison to make here is between Sonic Adventure.  The general aesthetic is basically identical, as both games feature sections where a strange creature jumps and runs around a metropolitan environment filled with street lights, skyscrapers, and cars that move down the street.  Oh, and yes you ever insightful children, if Mario was real, he would be dissected and branded a mutant.  You’re as clever as a whoopie cushion and somehow more irritating. Rundown (7/3-7/9) I Am Forever Broken

20160706222025_1So, I’ve been doing this for, what, three years now?  I literally just remembered that I needed to post this within the past twenty minutes.  Yeah, let that be a sentiment to how awful I can be at managing my various tasks and assignments, so long as they are self imposed at the very least.  I mean, I never missed an assignment in school, and I didn’t even use an assignment notebook in high school, so why that diligence didn’t transfer over is beyond me.    Continue reading

Rundown (6/05-6/11) PRE3 2016: Now With Less Eroge

00 Dogs

E3 2016 is days away, and PRE3 2016 is in full effect.  Reveals were made, trailers dropped, and leaks are still dripping from the sweaty underbelly of the video game industry in anticipation for the hype driven commercialized video game event of the year.  I could be jaded and cynical about the whole blasted affair, but I’d gain nothing but smug satisfaction in doing so.  It’s a fun and exciting time in the world of video games, so I may try to enjoy it and everything related to it. Rundown (12/28-1/03) Fart 4 Friendshipping

0 KLK DOuble Friendship surpriseWell, 2015 is now upon us.  It is a nice number, multiple of five, and has a nice calendar.  It also happens to be the year where I will set a few of my upcoming novellas during, as I am the sort of guy who needs to tell the reader the date when writing a story.  It is a dumb obsessive trait that I will probably never work out of, mostly due to how I doubt anybody will ever talk to me about my stories.  Hell, they are a secret to everybody I know off of the interwebs, partially due to how I lack any friends… Continue reading

Rundown (12/14-12/20) Bite off the Bitter End and Then Choke on It!

0 Watamota Soda burst Typical It Figures ObviouslyTomorrow I am releasing my seventh Novella, A Vile Doohickey.  I have been spending the past two and a half months tinkering away on it, and feel as if it is as good as it will get without another pair of eyes to help me out, and I wanted to get it out before this year’s end.  That means I have released a novella, and two novels in 2014… which is kinda crazy when I think about it.  It’s also the year where I started really working, effectively decided that I do not really care for college, and would rather work in an office for the rest of my days than learn something I will forget within six months.
